  • Rock Mass Characterization: We employ industry-standard methodologies such as Geological Strength Index (GSI), Rock Mass Rating (RMR), Coal Mine Roof Rating (CMRR), Q-system, and Rock Quality Designation (RQD) to assess and classify rock mass properties accurately.
  • 3D Explicit Finite Difference Modeling (FDM) and Finite Volume Modeling (FVM): Our expertise extends to utilizing advanced techniques such as non-linear strain-softening simulation and ubiquitous joint constitutive modeling.   • 2D and 3D Limit Equilibrium Modeling (LEM): Utilizing Rocscience's advanced software tools, Slide2 and Slide3, we perform precise limit equilibrium modeling to analyze slope stability and assess potential failure mechanisms.
  • Integration of Geo-Structures: We specialize in explicitly incorporating a large number of geo-structures into our models, enabling realistic simulations of the response of geo-materials to mining activities.
  • Advanced Constitutive Modeling: By utilizing the most advanced and realistic constitutive models for rock mass and geological structures, including strain-softening and dilatant behavior, we ensure accurate representation of material response. Our models are calibrated based on field measurements, including seismic data, geotechnical instrumentation, and field observations.
  • Discrete Fracture Network (DFN) Modeling and Probabilistic Simulation: We employ DFN modeling techniques and probabilistic simulation approaches to assess fracture networks, simulate local and regional stress field conditions, and conduct dynamic modeling.
  • Geotechnical Design: Our team provides comprehensive geotechnical design services for open-cut metalliferous and coal mines, ensuring the safety and stability of mining operations.
  • Slope Stability and Geotechnical Risk Assessments: We conduct detailed slope stability analysis and geotechnical risk assessments to identify potential hazards and provide effective mitigation measures.
